Desktop Publishing (DTP) and Design
At Valle Translations, a certified translation company, any creative piece can be reproduced in another language with the same exact formatting. All files will go through professional designers to make sure the translated documents are true not only to the original’s message and intention, but also to its design
We can work with the following programs, to name a few:
- InDesign
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- Publisher
If you do not have access to the complete artwork, we can always use the original PDF file. This option involves working with a conversion that is generated from our OCR program (Optical Character Recognition) to start the process of translation and then, the file will be designed from scratch. We would make all the necessary adjustments so that our designers can easily identify the text to be flowed into the requested design software.
Non-editable text images can be recreated as well, since. we will run them through our OCR program and then perform the translation. Finally, Graphic Design services can be added to reproduce the images back into their original format.
We also offer desktop publishing services from scratch: you tell us your specifications, the message you want to communicate, the intended audience and the required languages, and you send us the text you need translated (if applicable). We will work alongside our team of marketing translators to make sure the same exact message is conveyed not only through words, but also through layout—including but not limited to colors, font types, sizes and images, text distribution and alignment, focus and highlights.
